PUBLIC WORKS
The Public Works department counts two separate services being the County Road System and the Engineering and Building Services.
Engineering and Building Services
The Building and engineering service is an internal service. It coordinates projects on capital expenditure of the Corporation in order to maximize the effectiveness and the output. This section groups the maintenance service of the social housings, the maintenance service of the Counties’ buildings, including the administration office in L’Orignal, as well as the engineering service. The latter takes care of projects for new facilities, from planning and designing, to realizing the construction projects.

 The County Road System of the Public Works is responsible of the maintenance of Councy Roads, to issue miscellaneous permits required for oversized and overweight carrying on its road network or to permit construction works on county road sides.
