Welcome to the United Counties of Prescott and Russell’s website. I am very pleased to represent the Counties as Warden this year and on behalf of all members of Council, I invite you to browse our website and learn more about our great area.
As Counties’ Warden, my priorities will be economic development and tourism, the 2011 International Plowing Match (IPM) and celebrate 2011, the International Year of Forests by undertaking special meaningful and sustainable activities. The challenge in order that each of us can exercise good leadership is to bet on our common interests allowing our region to shine and develop itself which could be called: Unity in diversity.
Each municipality has its own strength and potential. We must unite to grow.
